Who we are
Riverside Data & AI is a data, AI and web consultancy based in Newcastle Emlyn, Carmarthenshire, Wales. For anything to do with your personal information, email hello@riversidedata.ai or call 07305 126812.
What we collect and why
- Enquiries: when you email, call or use our contact form, we receive your name, contact details and message. We use them only to reply and, if you become a client, to deliver our services. The contact form opens your own email app; nothing is stored by this website.
- Client work: data shared with us during a project is used only for that project, kept secure, and returned or deleted when the work ends, as agreed with you.
- Website statistics and advertising: only if you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand how people find and use the site and to measure our advertising. See "Cookies" below.
Our lawful bases under UK GDPR are your consent (cookies), our legitimate interests (replying to enquiries) and contract (client work).
Cookies
The website works without cookies. We only set analytics and advertising cookies if you choose Accept on our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
- Essential: we remember your cookie choice in your browser's local storage.
- Analytics (with consent): Google Analytics cookies such as
_ga, which measure visits anonymously in aggregate. - Advertising (with consent): Google Ads cookies, which tell us whether an ad led to an enquiry.
Third-party services
- Google Fonts provides the website's typefaces; your browser connects to Google to download them.
- The game on our Fun page uses your camera only on your own device. Video is never recorded or uploaded. The hand-tracking model is downloaded from jsDelivr, and any training examples you create stay in your browser.
- Hosting: our hosting provider processes standard technical data (such as IP addresses) to deliver the website securely.
